Narlaka was established by two friends, Jess and Amy. Their love for adventure, festivals and their collective experience in the fashion, design, and marketing industry provides the perfect balance in creating a brand for the girls and guys who are fearless in their pursuit of enjoying life to the full.
Jess and Amy split their time between London and Bali, where the garments are made by hand. Each product is carefully designed by the two of them, often taking months to perfect. When in Bali, Jess and Amy work closely with their small factories, ensuring everyone is valued, and that the garments are made with love and care. The brand aims to make clothes that last, and also try to use sustainable fabrics and processes where possible. Most of our prints are completely unique and original to the brand, and are made using screens in Bali.
The whole collection is available online, through pop up events, and in boutique stores in the UK and Europe. Keep an eye on our Instagram for more info on future pop up stores.
And why 'Narlaka' [pronoucned Nar-laaak-aaa]? Check out how we came up with the name on our blog here.
Jess and Amy take inspiration from retro, vintage styles, cuts and colours, adapting them for the modern day girl and guy. They are bringing the disco funk back to clothes, and can't wait to share the journey with you all.
